This course is new and I would love you to check it out.
An online course to support families with children who struggle with anxiety, sleep, sensory issues and emotional regulation through exploring different types of massage, story telling and essential oils.
The course is to support all members of the family as seen in the picture of two siblings below
The aim is to calm and relax, as well as empower and engage.
The course will explore different types of massage techniques from traditional massage to very gentle, aroma touch massage, hand massage, foot massage and introducing story massage as well. This is incorporating storytelling into massage. The exciting thing about this is that with story massage you incorporate storytelling into massage, so for children who are struggling with certain situations, transitions, different events, or just struggling to deal with nighttime routine, you can develop a story and a massage to help support them through this and we will talk about all the different areas that you can do this. With the essential oils, we'll look at which oils you can use for different massages. And also, different oils that you can use that help children recognise their emotions, as well as empower them by giving them tools that they can use and reach for when they need support.
The course will be developed to be very much a course to empower families as a whole. So the age range that it is aimed at could be three to 11, however, there will be things in this course that will support everybody in the family, from the young child to grandparents, and hopefully depending on the age of your child. they will also be able to learn these techniques and share them with you. Partners can share them with each other. So it is very much about supporting the child as well as supporting the whole family, as well.
